Phew...Glad that is over
For the past couple years, I have become to dread the month of May. First comes Mother's Day, then comes my daughter's birthday and then finally her dance pictures and dance recital. So much planning and organizing goes into each thing, it gets exhausting. This year was no different. I have been so wrapped up in all these things I have not had a moment for myself. It is such a nice feeling today that I have NOTHING to plan, organize or get ready to do! What a great day! (besides the rain that will NOT go away)
It won't last long, because I cannot go with out a list of projects to do...I have actually already started a new list!!
The first thing on the list that I need to tackle...it moving the Birthday decorations. They are taking over the house!
Here is one picture of what I came up with:
Have a great Monday!

Too Pretty to Eat...Almost
Cupcakes are one of my favorite things to bake and of course eat! I love all of the cupcake shows on TV and I love searching for new recipes to try. I always have the hopes to decorate my cupcakes like they do on TV but I never have enough time. I usually find myself throwing on the frosting at the last minute. Hoping some day I will have more time in a day I save a lot of the ideas I come across. I thought I would share a couple of the Easter themed goodies I found.
Happy Cupcake Decorating! If you have any more ideas please feel free to let me know!!

A table is not just a table...it is a work of art
Keeping with my Halloween / fall theme that has emerged this week I wanted to share with you some beautiful tablescapes I came across. If I were to have a party I am sure I would drive myself insane tying to make it perfect and be exactly like the pictures.
Beautiful
Adorable
Very Vampire-esque
And for the kids
Have a great Thursday!

Crafty ideas for your Pumpkins
Since I have been unsuccessful at adding more hours to my day, I can only daydream about the crafty decorations and goodies I could make for the holidays if I just had more time in a day. I love to look through magazines and the Internet for great ideas for when I have time in my day to make some.
These look super easy to make...mini pumpkins, ribbon and glue...simple!! Find it here
These spooky spiders would take no time at all. Find it here.
This tasty treat would take much longer to make than to eat! Find it here
And this one is my favorite....I would have never thought of putting rhinestones on pumpkins...very flashy! Find it here

The best thing about Halloween
Every year at this time the stores start to fill up with Halloween decoration and candy. I am not a big candy eater (more of a chip gal) but there is one tiny morsel of delight I do try to get my fill of....
CANDY CORN

Candy Corn MacaroonsThis tasty treat, Candy Corn Macaroons, can be found here.

It's Party Time
We moved in to our new home almost 3 months ago and ever since everyone we know has been asking when we are going to have a BBQ. Well it looks like we have set a date! Next weekend! Now I keep telling myself "keep it simple," "don't go overboard," and "make it easy for yourself" Well I don't really think that is my style. I have found so many blogs with the BEST party ideas, I have way too many ideas in my head of what I can do!
I found a couple ideas to use on the Entertain Exchange blog found here.
I love the lemon label holders!
The lanterns are adorable.
And these have to be the cutest cupcakes for a BBQ EVER!!!!
Taken from the blog Frost Me which came from the cook book Hello, Cupcake, page 24.
SO many ideas...SO little time!
Have a great Wednesday!!
