A girl can dream can't she?

With all the snow we have been having fall upon us lately I have been day dreaming about warmer weather and sunny destination. I spent a few minutes “surfing” the web (like how I added a reference to the warm weather fun!!) I came upon this website with a beautiful ocean view of Santa Cruz. I can just picture myself up on top of the rocks basking in the warm sun.

Also during my search I stumbled upon the world’s top ten most beautiful beach here. I have not been to any of the beaches on the list but I am not picky!!

The only good part about day dreaming about getting out of dodge is that we are going to be taking a quick trip to Florida in late March. We visit my Mom in Naples. You should see some of the pictures on their site…Wow! It makes me so excited to see the sandy beaches!

Spring? Is that you?

It is hard to believe that 6 days can go by so quickly. I took my 4 year old daughter to sunny Florida to visit my Mother. We had a couple days of rain and a few days of sun and 70 degrees. It has been such a crazy winter. I had to put a sweater on in Florida at times and cut my beach time short (I know you of you in the North are all feeling sorry for me). But when I get home to Maine it is supposed to be 60 degrees today! I LOVE IT!

Spring is my favorite time of the year. It is the time of year you see people outside and the sun makes moods much brighter!! Since we we don't have all the melting of snow...because we don't have any....we won't have all the mud!

What better way to get in the mood for the warmer weather than to share a few pictures of the sun we found in Florida!
